Petersham Nurseries

After months of drooling over the menu online, i finally found a fitting occasion to visit Pertersham Nurseries...the man's b'day = yummy meal for me as well! I immediately fell in love with the place, with its eclectic look of old English colonial meets country cottage. Then there was the food...simple, fresh and incredibly delicious, whilst incorporating all the wonderful produce growing on the grounds. The refined yet relaxed feel of the restaurant was pretty cool too. It's not often that a Michelin star and welly wearing diners collide, but it seems to work really well here! After a long, lazy, wine fuelled lunch, a walk around the nursery was much needed and resulted in me falling in lust with pretty much everything in their gorgeous shop. Oh, and just so you know, there is a lovely meadow nearby, perfect for a drunken afternoon snooze!

Ingenious travel

It may look a bit odd, but i bet this is awesome fun! Beats plain old walking any day.

Richmond Park - good for hangovers!

After a few too many appletini's at Ronnie Scott's last Friday night, the man and me were feeling a little delicate - it turns out that jazz makes you drink... a lot! As tempting as it was to roll over and hide under the covers, the sunshine was too glorious too miss on Saturday. So to indulge in some vitamin D, the man and me headed off to Richmond Park. It turns out that the fresh air (and a take-away miso soup) was just what the hangover ordered!
