the perfect city car...

I think i've said before that a classic Fiat 500 would be my perfect London city car...well, these cool illustrations made me think that the new model wouldn't be too bad either...

Vroom Vroom Sculpture

When I heard that this new piece of sculptural art had hit our streets, I just had to go and see it up close, especially as i have a long standing love for the classic Cinquecento. Talking about his piece, Lorenzo Quinn said that 'Vroom Vroom symbolises part of my independence, my freedom and my personal growth. This was the first car I bought with the money I made in my first jobs'.

Still my perfect city car... minus the giant arm!
On display on Park Lane until April

My perfect city car...

Walking through Soho last week my heart skipped a beat as I saw my first love swing around the corner... a beautiful, ochre Fiat Cinquecento! Oh the joy... I nearly dropped my camera in all the excitement! I have been in love with this small but perfectly formed car for as long as I can remember and think it makes for a perfect city ride. You don't see many in this country but they are everywhere in Italy and in the most delicious colours...
